We make no false claims. Short of medical aesthetics, no skincare exists in the world that erases every mark or scar. Our formulations are effective yet honest: living botanicals that support, soothe, and restore without pretending to do the impossible.

What Makes Your Products Different From Others Claiming These Same Things?

Most major "natural" brands are misleading their consumers, by cutting with synthetics and adding preservatives that have repercussions for human health, for the sake of convenience and profit.

You will also find that all of our products are waterless, with the exception of our room sprays and magnesium sprays. Some bath soaks have zamzam water in them as well, but this water has dried up with only the trace minerals left behind before bottling. This is because mixing wet ingredients with oils or dry ingredients causes microbial growth that can only be countered with preservatives. While this may be common practice in the 'natural' beauty industry, this is against our ethos.

Additionally, conventional brands use manipulative and machiavellian tactics to sell their products; pulling on base emotions such as ego and lust.

We engage only in completely transparent marketing and branding about the effects of our products, only sell by calling upon your highest self, and our products are legitimately handmade and 100% natural.

"I created LUFEMMERA to offer skincare that treats both skin and self with equal respect — grounded, elegant, and uncompromising in purity.

Over fifteen years ago, I began formulating my own skincare after reacting to the industrial chemicals found in nearly all modern cosmetics, hair, and skin products. I could not find a brand that met my standards — then, or now.

What began as necessity became a calling: to craft honest formulations that restore comfort and integrity. Lufemmera is my way of sharing that care — fresh, intentional skincare made with love, for those who value true beauty."

where are your ingredients from?

We work with a variety of reputable suppliers from across the globe, and buy from Canadian and Ottawa suppliers wherever possible.

I noticed ingredients like zamzam and blackseed...

Our products pull upon many holistic traditions. We do incorporate ingredients from the Abrahamic faiths, as we recognize that traditional cultures codified substances that they valued highly for their efficacy. Science has now displayed that these ingredients are indeed effective and in harmony with the body.

How can I visit the LUfemmera spa?

Our spa is a mobile spa that is based out of Ottawa. The spa is available for travel, by request. Please contact us with what you had in mind.
Why do you make such small batches?

As all products are made by one individual, we do not use industrial-scale tools. Additionally, smaller batches guarantee freshness.
I thought you were a luxury brand - why is your packaging so basic?

An excellent observation. With LUFEMMERA, the focus is on the quality of your experience and the purity of the formulations. Our ingredients are the stars—highlighted clearly on every label—because true luxury is about how a product feels on your skin, the calm it brings to your senses, and the nourishment it provides.

We also operate with a near zero-waste philosophy. Extraneous packaging is wasteful and often used in the industry to distract from products of lesser quality. We believe integrity should not be hidden behind gold foil or weighted bottles.

That said, beauty has its place. As we grow, we plan to collaborate with artisans to create glass vessels and packaging so exquisite they can live in your home as treasured objects—elevating your rituals while remaining true to our values of purity and sustainability.
